Victims’ Impact Panel expanded into Tennessee in 2007 and operates with one full-time and one part-time employee.
Kami Hepworth worked as the Director of Public Relations for Victims’ Impact Panel of Oklahoma, Inc. for over 4 years. When her husband’s job transferred him to Tennessee, Kami expressed a desire to start VIP in that state. She began her research prior to moving and quickly learned Tennessee had very different laws there regarding DUIs.
She opened the Mount Juliet office and currently has programs running in Wilson, Jackson, Putnam, Cumberland and Smith Counties. Plans are underway in several other counties to begin holding panels in the coming months.
